We care. We listen. We Believe. We Understand!
Sexual abuse, domestic abuse, and other traumatic experiences impact us for a lifetime. The experiences often leave us feeling confused, doubtful, anxious, sad, and worthless. These traumatic experiences can shake the very core of our being, impact our relationships, and make us wonder how to move on and live fulfilling lives. Sometimes these horrible things make us feel lost and stuck in life.
During these times, our deepest desire is to find peace, healing, validation, and worthiness. By utilizing a theistic existential approach, together, we can rediscover your strengths & values and who you are; and with the tools of Trauma Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, & CBT we can work towards finding your voice, feeling in control, and defeating negative thoughts.
I know what it feels like searching for genuine help and unable to find it, unable to find that counselor that can connect on a cultural and spiritual level. This is one reason I wanted to become a counselor…to touch lives and make a difference in the field of mental health.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Christian Care & Counseling from Oral Roberts University and I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. I have experience helping adults overcome the emotional & mental burden of traumatic experiences.
My areas of training pertain to individual therapy specific to anxiety, PTSD, depression, stress management, self-discovery, self-esteem, and Christian counseling. It would be my honor to walk this journey with you to help find hope and restoration. Don't be afraid to take a chance and try something new!
